I'm super excited that today I uploaded my brand new website that I designed from the ground up. www.younggunsqd.com. It is my personal art page and pseudo business. The title has been this working progress that I have had in my head for years combining my last name(young) one of my child hood favorite movies (young guns) and some clever word play that follows a theme in the western sense of quick draw as well as me actually drawing quickly. anyways. It is up and running. Enjoy it. visit it and let me know what you think. that is all for now.

So I took a class a little over a year ago on how to use the program Painter X. I wasn't sure if I liked the program or the class but I am trying to do a painting in the program and I have pretty much forgotten how to do anything in that program. Worse yet I was working on this painting for hours and it just turned into this giant mess. So back to the drawing board and maybe in a week I will have a successful digital painting up for you all to view. *Le Sigh

So I have has a Deviant art profile for over 4 years and I barely use this site but I want that to change. I have been going to school to get my Maters degree in fine art at the Art Academy of San Francisco. I really want to make a career out of art, illustration and comics. this has been a long time coming so I upgraded to a premium member; added a portfolio and am going to start visiting and contributing to this site more often.
